If you know a lot about American History than this book would be right up your alley. Griff Wilde coming off a successfully salvaging was intrigued by a letter he received from an old man “If you are reading this letter, that means that I am dead.” Since salvaging treasure is pretty much his forte, he didn’t worry too much about the competition. However, he underestimated one person. Ainsliee Fontaine, she loves being a teacher but it was time for a change.
When receiving a letter with clues to a priceless treasure…Ainslee was all for it, solving the first clue was pretty simple. But when someone starts targeting the scavenger hunters the game stops being fun. The race is on to see if they would find the treasure before they become the next victim.
Only saving point in this book was solving the clues and the little adventure that lead to the next. Again if you enjoy American History or just want an easy read to unwind from your hectic day, then this book would be for you.
