Legend claims

When Scotland fell to English rule
The Highland dragons took a vow:
Freedom at any price

The war may be over, but so long as English magic controls the Highlands, not even a dragon laird can keep his clan safe. What Cathal MacAlasdair needs is a warrior fierce enough to risk everything, yet gifted enough to outwit an enemy more monster than man.

What he needs is Sophia.

Alchemist Sophia Metzger traveled to Loch Arach in search of knowledge. She never dreamed she’d learn to do battle, ride through the stars on the back of a dragon, or catch the eye of a Highland laird. But as her quest turns to sizzling chemistry and inescapable danger, she’ll soon discover the thrill of being caught in a dragon’s claws…

Highland Dragon Warrior is the 1st book in Isabel Cooper Dawn of the Highland Dragon series. Nothing too exciting really happens in this book, since it was just setting the foundation for the series, and an introduction of the characters of sorts. The story was slow in some place but really picked up as the story unfolds. The banter between Cathal and Sophia was cute. I personally couldn’t get into the story. When Sophia talked about alchemy it was like she was talking a foreign language.
If you’re into science fiction / historical romance then this book would be right for you.

A dragon as a handyman? Ridiculous.

At least Liam Steel thinks so. Sure, he and his crew of newly-awakened metal dragons are experts at building things, but after being sunk at the bottom of a frozen ocean, all they want is to find the mates they were sailing in search of in the first place, and Liam isn’t sure how that can happen while he’s playing in the dirt. Until he meets his first client, a sweet, curvy, no-nonsense business-woman busy taking care of everyone but herself. His heart screams ‘mate’, and he’s ready to get his hands on more than her yard.

Kate Hinton doesn’t know what to make of the beefcake Rent-A-Dragon sent over to help with her yard. Impossibly tall with soulful teal eyes, dark hair, and the features of a male model, she’s pretty sure he should be walking a runway rather than digging trenches in her yard. And the way he looks at her? Like nothing else matters in the world. But the more she gets to know her kind, friendly, amazingly efficient handyman, the more she is realizing he’s not from her world.

He lives in a remodeled castle. He doesn’t know certain modern words. And he definitely doesn’t understand the rules of modern courtship. But somehow, Kate is finding herself falling in love with this ‘dragon’ all the same, and finding out there is a whole other world outside her own. One full of secrets, and danger, and maybe even the love of a lifetime.

The best think about Amazon Unlimited is that you might find a fantastic book that you might either wise, never have purchased. The book that I found is titled Steel (Rent-a- Dragon).
If only this wasn’t fiction. I would have immediately put in an urgent add for one. I would have torn my house down even if it was newly built just to get one.
Liam “Steel” is one hot dragon out to find his mate. So, with the assistance of Aegis, the Emerald Dragon in the Awakened series he just might get that chance.
Terry Bolryder the author of Steel is a new author for me. After reading this title I followed up on renting her other titles in this series.
So, if you’re looking for hot and wild Dragons and stubborn to boot, then Steel the first in Terry Bolryder new Rent-a-Dragon series will start you on to a wild road of action and hot romance.

“Bewitching, haunting and deliciously carnal.” -Night Owl Reviews, Top Pick for Unclaimed

He’s the man of her dreams
A long time ago, Zander Lorens was cursed to walk the earth stripped of his Dragon Clan powers. Every night, trapped in a recurring nightmare, Zander relives his darkest moment. He can hardly believe it when the dream changes and a beautiful young woman appears. Zander believes she’s the key to ending his torment. Finding her in the real world is one thing, but how will he convince her of who-and what-she really is?

She’s the end to his nightmare
Rena McHale uses her unique sensitivity as a private investigator, touting herself as a “human divining rod” and finder of the lost. By day she struggles with sensory overload, and by night her sleep is haunted by a fiery dragon shifter. Nothing in her life makes sense, until the man from her dreams shows up at her door with a proposition…

Undiscovered by Sara Humphreys will be the third book that I read. With Undiscovered being the first title in her new series Amoveo Rising. This story takes us on a wild journey of self-discovery.

Undiscovered one curse to walk alone and another cursed to dwell as a dragon, for all of eternity. Remind you of a certain movie right! (Underworld) but I hope this series has a happier ending than that franchise.

Zander was once a powerful dragon, until one day a curse rendered him unable to change into his alternate form. Now, he must find a way to break the curse before it’s too late. And he might just have found the answer.

Every night Rena is tormented by being burned alive by a dragon. Until, one night her dreamed changed, and she is saved by a voice.

Undiscovered was a nice pass time to what I would call a boring day. It had a nice plot and great character development.

When Rory Arish and his two fiery dragon siblings are driven out of their ancestral Irish home, it seems their luck has run out-until they arrive in Boston and find a paranormal-friendly apartment building. Finally, Rory has a place to call home. There’s only one problem: Rory’s new lair has simultaneously been rented to an infuriating woman who is as stubborn as she is beautiful and will not leave ‘her’ apartment matter how steamed he may be…

Amber McNally is a down-on-her-luck flight attendant. She needs this apartment, and not even a fire-breathing dragon with his Irish charm and scorching good looks is going to scare her away. Holing up in their respective corners, a battle of wills ensues. Who will be the first to blink…or give in to their off-the-charts chemistry and decide to make this unorthodox living arrangement a little more permanent?

Boston Dragons Series:
I Dream of Dragons
My Wild Irish Dragon

My Review: In Ashlyn Chase new book “I Dream of Dragons” she brought all the supernatural beings into one book.  Amber wasn’t having a good day, first she thought she was losing her mind when she met a woman who claims to be mother nature and that she wanted her help as a muse and then to find out she was getting evicted from her home.

But then if the woman could help her to find a new place she would believe anything even if the apartment comes with Rory Arish away to sexy Irish man who just so happens to be a dragon.

The banter these two have over this apartment is hilarious but when they finally settled that they don’t want either to live the romance starts to light the pages.

Sophea Long knows that escorting her octogenarian client to Europe will be an adventure. Mrs. P has a habit of stealing anything shiny, and the former “hoochikoo dancer” is a lot faster than she looks. But Sophea hadn’t counted on Mrs. P leading her right into the arms of a smoldering, dark-haired stranger who kisses like a dream. If only he’d give up all this nonsense about Sophea being some kind of dragon…

There’s a reason Rowan Dakar is known as the Dragon Breaker. The last thing he needs is to fall for a woman who literally sets him aflame every time they kiss. After all, he has a mission-one that will finally free him of dragonkin for good. He can’t afford to be distracted by the funniest, most desirable woman he’s ever set eyes on. But no prophecy in the world can ever stop true love . . .

My Review: What captured my attention with Dragon Soul was first the book cover and secondly the plot. Let me start and say I really am not a big fan of a first person narrative. I just don’t feel comfortable trying to put myself I guess in the shoes if you may of the character or characters that I am reading about. The plot was appealing it actually drew me in. And what is the amusing thing about Dragon Soul was that for a paranormal this book was pretty funny.

Rowan and Sophea were excellent characters their story was thrilling and passionate. By the end of the book I was amazingly surprised that I really enjoyed the story.
