    Game All Night

Let the Games Begin!!! I was asked if I wanted to read and review Game All Night. I said sure, it sounded like a story I might enjoy reading. What a surprise, I didn’t just enjoy this story I actually, truly love this story. It was a sweat, friend to lover story told in the 1st person narrative, which made this story even more enjoyable, though I don’t customarily read these types of stories. I try to stay clear if at all possible. So, a big Thank You to Lauren for not giving me, enough time to think upon my decision to read Game All Night. Game All Night takes…

Highland Wolf (The Murrays Book 15)

Nothing will stand in his way… No one does a historical romance like Hannah Howell. Even a good re-release version. I got the chance to read Highland Wolf. It was to my surprise that I read this title before. It’s not too many historical romance of Hannah Howell that I haven’t read. In Highland Wolf, James Drummond is out for revenge on the man who has taken everything from him. His honor, his home, his people the evil Sir Donnell Mackay even took his daughter. Though, if it wasn’t for Annora Mackay a distant cousin of Sir Donnell little Margaret (Meggie) would have been sold off to the highest bitter.…

    Wolf Rising (SWAT Book 8)

What a great way to wrap up this spooky month of October. Nothing is like ending the day with a good book. I chose Paige Taylor’s book Wolf Rising, book #8 in the SWAT series. The book started like all the rest in the series, explaining how the hero or heroine first turned. What I thought was interesting about Wolf Rising is how Taylor took what is happing in our schools and incorporated into Wolf Rising story. I want to give props to Paige because she didn’t overdramatize or romanticize the topic. In Wolf Rising, Jayden Brooks was an officer but when responding to a call at a local school,…

    Wyoming Legend (Wyoming Men)

Who abducted Diana Palmer?  I am a huge fan of Diana Palmer. I began reading her books in my early adult years. But recently, I noticed a huge change in her writing. Where are the strong, capable women? Women who were capable of handling domineering males in a romance story.   In the last past several books all Diana Palmer female characters were too timid, to the point that the female characters became 2D. There are aspects in DP latest book, that has become a norm for all her female characters. They must be virginal and weak. I don’t mind that a female can be pure. But come on, weak to…

Dagger’s Edge: A Brute Force Novel

Dagger’s Edge is the second book in Lora Leigh’s Brute Force series. But a spinoff, on her Elite Ops series. I relished in this installment of the Brute Force series. Though it’s only book #2, in my opinion, this was the best installment. It had everything that a reader of romantic suspense come to love about reading this genre. And to top it off, the male character has no shame. Ivan Resnova knows what he is, and doesn’t apologize for it. When he was first introduced in Collision Point he was this robust, secure, forceful male that took charge. That I must say carried over into his own story. Which…
