“Powerful chemistry that makes this a winning page-turner.”—Publishers Weekly for Must Love Babies

Where do you go when you’re at the end of your rope?

Former Marine Tucker Wylder wants nothing more than to work with his brothers in their vintage car restoration business and be left alone with his nightmares and regrets. The last thing he needs is to take on someone else’s troubles…

Then Elisa Danvers and her young daughter arrive in Misty Bottoms, Georgia. Elisa has reached the end of the line—flat broke, engine trouble, sick in body and spirit. Tucker steps up to the rescue and finds himself reluctantly taking care of a feisty preschooler and her independent mother, who doesn’t seem to want his help. And Tucker isn’t sure he’s ready for the way precocious little Daisy and headstrong, beautiful Elisa herself capture first his bachelor household and finally his carefully guarded heart…

This was a sweet and heartwarming tale. Of two lost souls. One haunted over lost friends, another by a disastrous marriage. By divine fate, Tucker Wylder and Elisa Danvers’s world will never be the same.

I didn’t know what to expect when I received a copy of, I’ve Got You, Babe, the 2nd installment in the Must Love Babies series, written by Lynnette Austin and published by Sourcebooks Casablanca. I expect this story will hit the right buttons with any reader who enjoys Contemporaries or just a feel-good story.

Elisa Danvers was a single mother, who was trying to raise her daughter, Daisy the best way she could. Even at the expense of her own health. One day she passed out, in the arms of Tucker Wylder, who had his own demons to concur.

Tucker wasn’t expecting when he woke up one day that he would have to be responsible for two strangers. He also wasn’t expecting to be able to feel again. But with Elisa and Daisy, he finally came to believe that it’s okay to feel alive.

I most certainly enjoyed every last minute of reading I’ve Got You, Babe. The plotline was moving, and the characters will touch your heart. I know that Tucker and Elisa were supposed to be the stars of this novel. However, to me, Daisey stole the spotlight. I just loved this little girl. I especially loved the nickname for Tucker…Tut.

I’ve Got You, Babe, a heartwarming story that I give high marks, a story that you most certainly don’t want to miss.

About Lynnette Austin

Lynnette Austin loves Starbucks, peppermint patties, and long rides with the top down and the music cranked up! One of the great things about writing is that daydreaming is not only permissible but encouraged. She grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to New York, then to Wyoming, and presently divides her time between Florida’s beaches and Georgia’s mountains. She’s been a finalist in RWA’s Golden Heart Contest, PASIC’s Book of Your Heart Contest, and Georgia Romance Writers’ Maggie Contest. Having grown up in a small town, that’s where her heart takes her-to those quirky small towns where everybody knows everybody…and all their business, for better or worse.
