No one tells you what happens when you fall in love with your best friend.
They don’t tell you it’s like waiting for the answer to a question no one can hear you ask.
Meet Brynn Darling. Successful event coordinator. Celebrity friends. At the top of her game. But after many failed attempts at finding love, and a realization that her best friend is clueless, she’s ready to move on.
Easton Cole has been in the friend zone since . . . well, forever. He fills the void with unimportant people and never gets attached. That is until Brynn begins seeing a guy who threatens everything he’s ever wanted.
All bets are off.
Maybe it’ll never happen.
Maybe she’ll fall in love.
Maybe they’ll get their ever after . . . after all.
Maybe Ever After, an entertaining and sexy contemporary romance, written by Cassie Graham. The story takes place in Santa Barbara, California, and is told in the 1st person narrative. With a captivating plot. If you’re into attending conventions whereby you get to meet your favorite star, then Maybe Ever After is the right book for you. The characters are very well drawn, and readers can identify with them easily.
The character I can identify with would be Brynn Darling. While reading Maybe Ever After, I thought the author knew me personally. Because some of the characteristics that Brynn attributes to herself is totally me. But, in Brynn case, she had someone that she can be herself with and didn’t have to pretend. Easton Cole wasn’t your normal hero but is certainly the kind of guy that any parent would hope that their little Princess would bring home.
This was my first ever read from this author. I totally enjoyed reading about Brynn and Easton. You will not be disappointed if you decide to pick up a copy of Maybe Ever After.
