Stieg Engstrom, Angriest Viking Ever, has got big problems. The human Viking Clans of earth are in danger of being obliterated—along with the rest of the world—and the only one who may be able to save them is a super pain-in-the-ass Crow. Most people annoy Stieg, but this is the one woman he really can’t stand…

Erin Amsel loves being a Crow! Why wouldn’t she when the other Viking Clans are so hilariously arrogant and humorless? She’s not about to let all that come to an end! She just didn’t expect to be shoulder to shoulder in battle with Stieg. Then again, he’s so easy to torment—and also kind of cute.

With the future of the world riding on them, Stieg knows he’ll have to put aside his desperate need to kiss the smirk right off Erin’s face. Wait. What? He didn’t mean that—did he? No! They have one goal: To conquer the idiots. Because nothing bugs Stieg more than when idiots win. If only he can keep himself from suddenly acting like one…

So far, I have read all shelly Laurenston Call of Crows series. I’ve must say that Unyielding was the funniest of them all. Only Erin Amsel could make getting shot a funny thing. But after a while, even Erin started to take it personally. Now with the world in the danger of being obliterated, it’s up to Erin to save it. But she would not be alone because Stieg has the honor of protecting this insane woman on this danger mission.

I think what made this book so entertaining was the banter between Stieg and Erin. Same of the conversations that they have were some of the funniest yet.

So if you’re in a bum mood try picking up a copy of Unyielding this book will definitely brighten up your day.

No one would ever accuse Jace Berisha of having an easy life–considering her husband…you know…killed her. But that was then! Now she fights for mighty Viking gods with the spectacular and vicious Crows.

But things are turning very bad, very quickly because a vengeful, ancient goddess has come into the world with just one thing on her mind–ending it. And the only way they can hope to stop her is if the Crows join forces with their one-time enemies, the Protectors. A Viking Clan created to do nothing but kill every Crow they see.

Thankfully, Protector Ski Eriksen is a peace loving kind of guy. Because the woman he is desperately trying to get close to is the beautiful and not-very-chatty Jace. Battling Nordic clans? Unkillable goddesses? Jace’s mean-spirited dog? None of these things would ever get in the way of a true Viking!

My Review:  Can Shelly Laurenston write anything bad. So far all her books that I read I think The Undoing has to up there in my top 10. Jace was one tough cookie. I think being killed by your husband the one person you should trust above all others may have changed her somehow that or being buried alive. Yep I think being buried alive would change about anyone to the point that the Viking gods has made her one of their crow warriors.

Whereas Jace was the quite but deadly type, Protector Ski Eriksen was the peacefully but and loving, that is until you wound up on his bad side. Then I don’t know who was worse Jace or Ski at that point.

The Undoing was a fantastic read that will have you laughing out loud. So to me when I read this book I was in a bad mode. However, after reading this story had in a better place.

Wolf with Benefits (Pride Stories Series #8) Book Review

How do I start this review, I’ve been up all night trying to come up with a different way to begin. To do this is very difficult. So I just begin with Shelly Laurenston “The Pride Series” is hilarious, the characters are all likeable even the ones that you seriously want to hate.
Wolf with Benefits the 8th book to this series fits right in with all the rest. Toni Jean-Louis Parker is the oldest sister to jackal siblings who are all gifted in some way. Being the “Average” one in this family leaves Toni little to no time, to have a career to make her mark. So one is out for blood and only one person could so her sanity and her family that would be Ricky Lee Reed.
Hold on to your seat and bring a lot of tissues before you read this book. Wolf with Benefits will leave you in tears.

Unleashing Book Review

Unleashing by Shelly Laurenston is the1st installment in her new series Call of Crows. Call of Crows series begin with Kera Watson a Former Marine who is stabbed in an alley and left for dead. Skuld a Norse God summed by one of Kera’s customers; Skuld offers her another chance at life which Kera doesn’t accept without conditions.

Unleashing was a funny story with very strong characters even the secondary characters were well developed. Kera being a former Marine brings her ability to organize and defend to the table as she tries to acclimate herself to her new life. Along the way she clashes with a sister crow and others. She too meets Ludvig “Vig” Rundstom the customer who originally summoned Skuld . Who is Ludvig? What does he know this life Kera awaken to?
