    Forged in Fire

With a brush of a hand, the journey begins!!!   Forged in Fire is the first book in Trish McCallen’s Red-Hot SEALs Series, it’s also the first book by this author that I had the pleasure of reading. Let me just say…if you’re a fan of military romances then you’re in for a real treat. You might even love this story as much as I did. SEAL Team 7 was on their way to a wedding in Hawaii when Lt. Commander Zane Winter was struck with a vision of death. Facing death was nothing new to him or his friends. But in little over an hour what should have been…

    Game All Night

Let the Games Begin!!! I was asked if I wanted to read and review Game All Night. I said sure, it sounded like a story I might enjoy reading. What a surprise, I didn’t just enjoy this story I actually, truly love this story. It was a sweat, friend to lover story told in the 1st person narrative, which made this story even more enjoyable, though I don’t customarily read these types of stories. I try to stay clear if at all possible. So, a big Thank You to Lauren for not giving me, enough time to think upon my decision to read Game All Night. Game All Night takes…

    A Dragon to Tame: Rion

A planet to save..a woman to conquer! After reading the synopsis I was hoping to really enjoy A Dragon to Tame the second book in Susan Kearney’s The Pendragon Legacy series. But I hate to say this book was a big disappointment.  When you pick up a book; whether it’s Science Fiction, Western or Drama. When sexual tension is the undertone of moving a plot along, you know that the main characters will act upon it sooner or later. This is what we as readers hope for…But to have the characters’ desires, be the focus of saving an entire planet…I hate to say I couldn’t buy into it, which…

Highland Wolf (The Murrays Book 15)

Nothing will stand in his way… No one does a historical romance like Hannah Howell. Even a good re-release version. I got the chance to read Highland Wolf. It was to my surprise that I read this title before. It’s not too many historical romance of Hannah Howell that I haven’t read. In Highland Wolf, James Drummond is out for revenge on the man who has taken everything from him. His honor, his home, his people the evil Sir Donnell Mackay even took his daughter. Though, if it wasn’t for Annora Mackay a distant cousin of Sir Donnell little Margaret (Meggie) would have been sold off to the highest bitter.…

    Wolf Rising (SWAT Book 8)

What a great way to wrap up this spooky month of October. Nothing is like ending the day with a good book. I chose Paige Taylor’s book Wolf Rising, book #8 in the SWAT series. The book started like all the rest in the series, explaining how the hero or heroine first turned. What I thought was interesting about Wolf Rising is how Taylor took what is happing in our schools and incorporated into Wolf Rising story. I want to give props to Paige because she didn’t overdramatize or romanticize the topic. In Wolf Rising, Jayden Brooks was an officer but when responding to a call at a local school,…
