She’s ready to make her move…

Lupine shifter Daphne’s recent move back home gives her a chance with the fierce and sexy male she’s always wanted: jaguar shifter Hector. She plans to show him she’s all grown up, and more than enough woman for him. But a vampire from her past has been harassing her and will stop at nothing to make her his.

He’s not letting her go this time…

Hector knows Daphne can take care of herself, but he immediately steps in to protect her from a stalker. He’s lusted after the sweet and sensual she-wolf for years and won’t let anything come between them now. With circumstances forcing them to share a roof, Hector won’t hide his attraction toward her any longer. But Daphne underestimates her stalker’s persistence and it might be too late for Hector to keep the woman he loves safe.

His Untamed Desire is a nice past time, until Katie Reus comes out with another full-length novel. It was short but sweet and fits right in with the rest of the Moon Shifter Series.

Don’t make no mistake. Even though this book is short, Katie Reus didn’t skimp on the romance or the plot. Both characters were in fact likable and the story line was very fast pace.

For someone like me patients isn’t in my nature, so this title was very sweet until Lethal Game comes out next year.

He walked away once; he won’t do it again.

Wolf shifter Aldric Kazan is no stranger to pain. Since the loss of his mate a century ago, he won’t allow himself to fall for someone again—not even the feisty female who stirs things in him that he thought were gone long ago. But as a supernatural investigator, he’s forced to team up with the same woman he vowed to stay away from.

She let him in once; she refuses to do it again.

Natalia Cordona refuses to back down from any challenge—even if it means joining forces with Aldric, the sexy and brooding man who won’t get too close. Locating missing vampires before a volatile war breaks out seems nearly impossible as the duo struggle with their explosive and undeniable attraction. Now it’s up to Natalia and Aldric to trust each other to stop an all-out war from breaking out that would destroy the harmony they’ve all worked so hard for.

I’ve only read two books by Katie Reus. As people are aware by now I can’t pass up a good paranormal romance. And Dark Protector is no exemption to this rule.

Dark Protector is book six in the Moon Shifter series and can be read as a standalone, which I could attest to.  The book was well written with a fast pace and well developed and likeable characters. I fell in love with the characters that much…that I had to get caught up…so by doing this I had go into my local library to try to borrow the rest of this series.

She thought she was finally safe…

After two years of running Tegan O’Kelly could finally stop when the deadly gangster after her died. Eight months ago she put down roots in sunny Miami. For the first time in years she has friends, a job she likes and she can think about the future, not just surviving to the next day. When her car is bombed in broad daylight, she decides to stand her ground instead of running from her faceless enemy.

But a deadly enemy has her in his crosshairs…

Single father Aaron Fitzpatrick knew Tegan was trouble from the moment he laid eyes on her. Sexy trouble wrapped up in a petite, dynamite package he fantasizes about kissing far too often. So far he’s been able to keep his distance, but when he witnesses her car explode—with her close by—something protective erupts inside him. After his wife left him and their son five years ago, he’s stayed away from relationships and women, but he can’t keep his distance from Tegan. It’s clear she’s in danger and the more he learns about her, the more he knows he has to stand beside her and fight the danger hunting her.

Dangerous Protector a 250 pages penned by author Katie Reus is an excellent addition to the Red Stone Security series.

After years of being on the run Tegan O’Kelly can now sigh the breath of relief and for once doesn’t have to look over her shoulders. Having friends and a job that she loves, Tegan is living the dream. Or is she….

When her car explodes Tegan must decide if she want to go back on the run or stand her ground. And with the help of single father Aaron Fitzpatrick she must also decide if she is willing to surrender her heart.

Dangerous Protector was a fast paced mystery suspense with full of twist and turns. With strong characters. Dangerous Protector will have you totally submerged by the first dialogue.

Just like all the other titles in this series Dangerous Protector can be read as a stand-alone.

What I liked about this book was Tegan…. she maintains that same independent nature that kept her alive for those two years even though Aaron was willing to take on the job.

Love Thy Enemy (Red Stone Security #13)

She refuses to trust him.

Red Stone Security employee Dominique Castle knows all too well that there are people in this world she just can’t trust. After losing both her parents, Dominique keeps her distance from anyone tied to her past—especially the man she’s hated for years. And Viktor Ivanov isn’t going to change her mind about who he really is—no matter how determined the infuriatingly sexy Russian is.

He’s determined to win her over.

She may hate him and not trust him, but Viktor is determined to crack through Dominique’s icy exterior one way or another—even if it means taking the game into his own hands. With a past like Viktor’s, he’s made more than a few enemies along the way—enemies who’ll stop at nothing to take him down. When Viktor realizes Dominique’s life is in danger because of him, he’ll stop at nothing to protect her—whether she likes it or not. Now it’s up to Dominique to trust the one man who’s linked to the agony of her past. Can she find a way to love the enemy she always loathed?

My Review: Every so often, you will find that one book that no matter how late it is, you must complete said book before bed. That book to me was Love Thy Enemy by Katie Reus. It is her latest book in the Red Stone Security series and can be read as a stand-alone. If you never picked up one of Katie Reus books, Love Thy Enemy is a romantic suspense with emphases on romance.

Dominique should hate anyone with the name of Ivanov. Since it was the last name of the person who had a strong hand in her mother’s death. But with Viktor, the sins of father shall always stay with the father.

Once Viktor realize what his father has done to Dominique family. He takes it upon himself to righting the wrong…It doesn’t hurt that he finds Dominique very alluring.

Love Thy Enemy was an excellent book from start to finish. I never read two romance stories simultaneously before, but that just goes to show, how good a story teller Katie Reus is. Love Thy Enemy was a very fast-pace narrative with a sweet HEA for all couples.
