Its currently 5:00 in the morning. I normally I will be in bed sleeping like the logs, especially on a Saturday morning. However, after finishing Blood Flame I was compelled to write this review.
It’s not too often I am willing to pick up a new book without actually knowing what the story was about. However, I took a chance with Blood Flame and with this new author Caris Roane. I must say that Blood Flame and Caris has lived up to my expectations on paranormal romance.
Caris in her new series “The Flame”, she takes us on an adventure of vampires, witches and other paranormal. Connor of the Crescent Border Patrol was not your average vampire to me he was something more. He had compassion like no other vampire I had ever read before. But, don’t let the compassion full you he was an alpha vampire to the max with the hard on for one badass witch.
Connor and Iris both had ethics that they were not willing to compromise no matter the order that was handed down by their superiors. And when the last mission had both having to rely on each other to survive the paranormal world will never be the same.
Blood Flame hooked you in from the very first chapter. That was a good thing, because I solved this homicide wide open way before the person was even mentioned. But even though I solved the mystery of the Who, and Why; there was still the What, and Where to be answered. And like any reader I was again compelled to see this book through to find out those answers. By doing so, I found that this was one of the best paranormal romance ever.
Now I am going to stop this review right here because one I am tired and this would be the longest review I have ever done.
But…before I go don’t forget to pick up your copy of “Blood Flame” you won’t regret that you did.
